Service Description

Course Aims and objectives are: The global nature of arbitration means that injunctions in support of arbitration are becoming increasingly important. This course examines the types of interim relief that can be granted in arbitration, particularly by the English courts, and UAE courts. The activity will also consider major international instruments such as the UNCITRAL Model Law [2006]. The course considers the effectiveness or otherwise of such injunctive reliefs. We consider: • When it might be appropriate to seek interim relief and where such relief should be sought • The importance of interim relief to arbitration • The test applied by the courts in granting such relief • The effectiveness of such relief Course programme- 1.5 hours of presentation. 0.5 hour of problem solving and group discussion

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING BY US At times it may be necessary for us to change the accredited CLPD Course content, and/or Venue from those published. Whilst we will use our reasonable endeavours to provide notice of such changes at least three(3) days’ before the date of the accredited CLPD Course, we will not be held liable for any costs/losses incurred as a result of any such changes. In addition, it may also be necessary on occasion to cancel an accridited CLPD Course, including where the minimum number of participants has not been met. In the event an accredited course is cancelled: we shall endeavour to provide notice of such cancellation to you at least three(3) days before the date of the accredited CLPD Course; your CLPD Account will be refunded ; and cancellation, re-scheduling and non-attendance by you Provided that you cancel your attendance at a accredited CLPD Course at least seven (7) days’ before the date of the relevant Mandatory CLPD Course: your CLPD Account shall be refunded In the event you fail to give prior notice required your Credit in respect of that accrideted CLPD Course will be forfeited and you shall have no entitlement to be to a refund.
