Blockchain-based and Smart Contract Dispute Resolution Course Description This Course consists of an inter-disciplinary study of the way that new technologies are impacting the resolution of disputes between businesses by focusing on the use of blockchain-based and smart contract platforms for arbitration and other types of dispute resolution. Course Aims and objectives are: ï‚· Understanding what blockchain, DLT and smart contract technologies. ï‚· Explanation of the current platforms using these technologies for dispute resolution. ï‚· Discussion of the driving forces and context for these new types of dispute resolution ï‚· Explanation of the characteristics of blockchain-based dispute resolution. ï‚· Discussion of the current guiding principles and rules governing blockchain- based dispute resolution. Course Programme 1.5 hours presentation and 0.5 hour problem solving and discussion

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING BY US At times it may be necessary for us to change the accredited CLPD Course content, and/or Venue from those published. Whilst we will use our reasonable endeavours to provide notice of such changes at least three(3) days’ before the date of the accredited CLPD Course, we will not be held liable for any costs/losses incurred as a result of any such changes. In addition, it may also be necessary on occasion to cancel an accridited CLPD Course, including where the minimum number of participants has not been met. In the event an accredited course is cancelled: we shall endeavour to provide notice of such cancellation to you at least three(3) days before the date of the accredited CLPD Course; your CLPD Account will be refunded ; and cancellation, re-scheduling and non-attendance by you Provided that you cancel your attendance at a accredited CLPD Course at least seven (7) days’ before the date of the relevant Mandatory CLPD Course: your CLPD Account shall be refunded In the event you fail to give prior notice required your Credit in respect of that accrideted CLPD Course will be forfeited and you shall have no entitlement to be to a refund.
